Job Title: Bus Driver
Salary: Depending on qualifications

Position Responsibilities:
Saint Mary's College invites applications for a part-time non-exempt Bus Driver.

Reporting to Assistant Director of Facilities Services the successful candidate will be able to drive 15, 18, or 30 passenger vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Plans best route, obeys traffic laws and signs
  • Completes the Trip Ticket, including mileage information, mechanical/vehicle issues and general comments
  • Notifies Public Safety and/or Facilities Services immediately in case of mechanical failure or accident 
  • Performs post-trip inspection and makes notations on Trip Ticket 
Deadline: Review of application materials and applications will begin immediately.  Open until filled.  All applications and inquiries will be held in strictest confidence.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required. At least one year of experience is preferred but not required.
  • Appropriate Commercial Class B License with Passenger Endorsement (P)  [15 passenger or up to 26,000 pounds depending on vehicle being driven]
  • Driver training course or other instruction preferred
  • Driver must have and maintain an appropriate Motor Vehicle Record and be cleared by college insurance carrier
  • Motor Vehicle Records are pulled at least once annually
