| Job Title: Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Kinesiology
| Salary: - Salary is competitive with other non-profit higher education institutions and commensurate with qualifications, experience, internal equity considerations and subject to availability of funding sources.
- Placement on the Assistant Professor salary scale will be determined by qualifications and prior experience. Promotion and tenure are based upon teaching effectiveness, scholarly achievement, and participation in departmental and college service activities.

| Position Responsibilities: - Saint Mary's College invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology. The work is collegial in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse campus environment. Effectively communicate with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students, alumni and donors. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the mission of the College, which is informed, animated and expressed through its Catholic, Lasallian and Liberal Arts traditions.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate sport management courses.
- Faculty contractual responsibilities reflect a full course load of six (6) courses each academic year. Faculty are expected to post and hold a reasonable number of office hours to accommodate the schedules of students and advisees, to attend departmental and committee meeting, general Academic Senate meetings, Commencements, and other special convocations or events, serve on School and College committees, perform instruction substitution for faculty colleagues and participate in student recruiting events.
- Faculty are also expected to engage in scholarly and research activities and to regularly participate in two core Liberal Arts programs, the Collegiate Seminar Great Books and the January Term.

| Qualifications: - Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Sport Management or a closely related discipline, with a record of teaching excellence, evidence of research trajectory, and publication in the field.
- Candidates should be committed to a liberal arts education, and are expected to participate in departmental and college service activities.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered teaching, a commitment to research and professional activity at the national and international level and computational proficiency.
- Appreciation of and deep respect for the learning/teaching environment and for the students, staff and faculty who comprise it and the willingness to embrace the Lasallian commitment to that environment is required.
- Demonstrated commitment and success working in diverse, multicultural communities, preferably in higher education settings should be apparent.
