Job Title: Dean of Economics and Business Administration
Salary: Compensation is commensurate with rank and qualifications. Position Responsibilities:

The School of Economics and Business Administration offers distinguished undergraduate degree programs, such as the Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Economics, as well as graduate degree programs that are rooted in intellectual inquiry and the application of theory-based concepts. Graduate Business was founded in 1975 with the inauguration of the Executive MBA Program. In 1984, the Professional MBA Program was introduced, and in 2004 Graduate Business launched the M.S. in Financial Analysis and Investment Management (MS-FAIM) Program. 
 
Reporting to the Provost:
  • The Dean is responsible for the overall academic excellence of the School, recruitment and development of outstanding faculty and staff, and improvement of educational effectiveness 
  • The Dean is expected to provide strategic direction for the College, foster a rich intellectual community, support faculty and student research, effectively manage the administrative affairs of the School, represent the School and the College to the public, and assist in obtaining external resources for the School and the College
  • The Dean supervises department chairs, program directors, and associate deans in both the undergraduate and graduate divisions
